In Shibuya, Kongming encounters Eiko Tsukimi, whom he dubbed the Songstress of Hell. He gets attracted to Eiko’s singing voice, which surprisingly drives him to tears. Every time Eiko sings for him, Kongming reminisces about his previous life and comrades. Kongming volunteers to be Eiko’s manager and strategist. While Eiko aspires to perform at the world’s largest EDM event, Kongming promises to support her. Eiko’s great career is now in sight, thanks to Kongming’s wide understanding of battle methods and cerebral techniques comparable to Sun Tzu’s Art of War! Part of the success of Ya Boy Kongming is the anime’s banger opening. Even the famous YouTuber Gigguk has posted the opening of the anime on Twitter. He also dubbed it as the best anime opening of the spring season in rivalry with Spy x Family and Skeleton Knight in Another World.
When Will Ya Boy Kongming be Dubbed in English? When to Expect a Dub Release Date
HIDIVE has announced that the English dub release date for Ya Boy Kongming on the streaming platform is on September 23, 2022. Joe Daniels (Thorkell in Vinland Saga) will play Kongming, and Juliet Simmons (Rei in Hamatora) will play Eiko.
