Paul Feig will be directing The School for Good and Evil. Feig has directed a number of comedy hits like the 2016 version of Ghostbuster, The Heat, Spy, and Bridesmaids. The School for Good and Evil is based on the novel with the same title by Soman Chainani. Chainani also wrote the screenplay with David Magee. Siam Costumes International prepared the clothes for the film, while NVIZ takes credit for the special effects.
The School for Good and Evil Plot: What Will be the Movie’s Plot?
As we mentioned earlier, The School for Good and Evil follows Soman Chainani’s novel with the same title. It is the first out of the six volumes that make up the entire series. The book tells of two girls who live in the village of Gavaldon, where every four years, on the eleventh night of the eleventh month, two 12-year-old children are chosen and taken away to the School of Good and Evil. This year, best friends Sophie and Agatha are picked to attend the school, but things are not how they dreamed it up to be. Fair-haired Sophie, who always dreamed of being whisked away to School to be a princess in love with a handsome prince, becomes a student for the School of Evil to become a Never, while Agatha, filled with insecurities and hopelessness from her graveyard home, becomes a student for the School of Good to become an Ever. Was there a mistake? Or was this the way things have always been destined to be? We have to wait and see if the film will follow the original premise of the novel and what changes will be followed, if there are any.
