With the successful release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in the midst of a global pandemic, Sony Pictures continue to give the people a true fan service as they will release an extended cut version of the Tom Holland-led movie which will be having an addition 11 minutes of new scenes.
Hyping the re-release, Sony Pictures just dropped a new teaser for the upcoming “More Fun Stuff Version” of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and this time, it features the multiversal villains on what seems like an elevator to Happy’s condo unit, waiting to alight.
The multiversal villains are Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock/ Doctor Octopus which just got an upgrade on his teach by the way, Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman, and Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn. Not in the teaser is Rhys Ifans’ Lizard.

In the same scene are Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May, and of course, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Other iterations of Spider-Man such as Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are also expected to get more screen time in the extended cut version.
The additional 11 minutes of new scenes are teased with a short clip earlier this week but aside from that, everyone is in the dark on whether the villains will get more screen time.
Spider-Man: No Way Home has Peter Parker dealing with the events of the previous film as Mysterio revealed his identity to the public, leading his way to Doctor Strange, botching a spell that would forever change the course of the whole MCU, and letting the multiversal villains in.
Spider-Man: No Way Home “More Fun Stuff Version” Extended Cut will be coming in theaters on September 2, 2022.
