The scene was captured and shared online by Twitter user @SakugaRelux, letting fans from outside Japan see this action-packed scene that’s 16 seconds long. While it may not be a long clip, this leaked scene does give fans a taste of what to expect in One Piece Film: Red, especially in the action department. The scene features the Straw Hat Crew facing off against large robots. Specifically, the scene shows Usopp, Chopper, Nami, Robin, Zoro, and Sanji in action, though their captain doesn’t seem to be part of the fight. In the post, @SakugaRelux theorized that animator Soga Shiigetsugu is among the staff members that worked on this scene. This is because the action scene here is reminiscent of the Luffy vs Goki fight from Episode 1,001 in terms of animation. While it wasn’t mentioned where exactly this clip was released, based on the graphics at the top, this scene was released recently on Japanese network television. There’s no word yet on if this scene will release in high-resolution online. Though it wouldn’t be a surprise to see it get released closer to the film’s international release. One Piece Film: Red is the fifteenth feature film in the franchise, and it follows Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew as they make their way to Uta’s concert. Uta is a brand-new character that’s considered the most popular singer in the world. Though it is soon revealed that Luffy has a connection to Uta as she is the daughter of Shanks. The next One Piece film will release in Japanese cinemas on August 6, 2022. Some lucky fans were able to watch the film early during the One Piece Day celebration back on July 22, 2022. Fans outside Japan can watch the movie in cinemas in Fall 2022.
