Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Reveals Voice Cast, Release Date

The Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible anime was announced earlier this year. Soon, it was revealed that veteran voice actress Kana Hanazawa plays the role of Kubo. Opposite her is Kengo Kawanishi who plays the role of Junta Shiraishi. Hanazawa is arguably one of the most prolific VAs working currently as she has voiced various popular characters, including Akane Tsunemori in Psycho-Pass, Nadeko Sengoku in Monogatari, Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer, and more. Meanwhile, Kawanishi is another popular VA who has played several well-known characters such as Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer and Gen Asagiri in Dr. Stone. He also plays Yutaro Kurose in Chainsaw Man. Along with the two main stars, the anime also stars Miku Ito (Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets), Sora Amamiya (Aqua in KonoSuba), Mariya Ise (Himeno in Chainsaw Man), and more. You’ll be able to hear these well-known VAs when Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible premieres on January 10, 2023. RELATED: The Best Romance Anime With a Female Lead

Kimi no Todoke VA Joins the Series

On top of the already stacked voice cast, the series confirmed that Mamiko Noto has joined the show’s voice cast as well. Noto is a voice actress who has been active since 1998, meaning her career is even longer than her fellow cast members in the show. Some of the popular characters she has played include Sawako Kuronuma in Kimi ni Todoke, Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad, and Fiel Nirvalen in No Game No Life, among others. While she’s popular for playing main heroines like Sawako, it’s interesting to note that Noto is playing Yoshie Shiraishi, the mother of the protagonist Junta. Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible will premiere in Japan on January 10, 2023, with a broadcast confirmed on the AT-X channel and select Japanese TV networks. Currently, there’s no word yet on which platform the series will be available to stream outside Japan. Discover more anime news and info by following us on Twitter @epicstreamanime.
