How Did Kaguya Outsmart Miyuki?
In Chapter 280, Miyuki had a lengthy exchange with Mikado Shijo, which turned out to be a win for the former – but Kaguya seemed confident that she would have the last laugh about whatever was happening. After reading Chapter 280, fans might have also wondered if Miyuki would even get to graduate, given that he’d dropped out of high school and gone straight to college. At first, Miyuki pretends to be content just watching his friends’ graduation but, soon enough, his father persuades him to sneak into the academy and see his friends graduate. Miyuki doesn’t initially admit his jealousy, but he’s pleasantly surprised when it turns out that Kaguya had organized for everyone to celebrate Miyuki’s graduation too.
Will Kaguya and Miyuki’s Battles Ever Stop?
One would think that now that Kaguya and Miyuki are actually dating, they would finally stop mentally fighting each other but that is far from true. Now that Kaguya will go to Stanford and be with Miyuki, the two have decided to take their relationship to the next level. Kaguya wants to be proposed to, even though she has just graduated. From his end, Miyuki thinks that, in order to present himself to the Shinomiya family as a groom, he has to get every single aspect of his life together. The way he sees it, this is unlikely to happen before his forties, unless, of course, Kaguya proposes to him first. And so, one of our favorite anime couples goes on, and it seems that they will continue to be hilarious as they try to outsmart each other even now.
Where Are the Main Characters Now?
As we reach the curtain call, let’s refresh our memories of where we left all the main characters: Chika Fujiwara, who was confirmed in her last chapter as an LGBTQIA+ character, will continue being the cheerful character we know and love. Miko Iino is now the school president with Ishigami as vice president. The two will continue Kaguya and Miyuki’s legacy of refusing to confess to one another, suggesting that the whole student council needs some lessons on being vulnerable. Hayasaka will finally get to be free and travel the world, though she will always love to return to her friends.
Will There Be More Kaguya-sama Content?
At this time, no additional Kaguya-sama: Love Is War content has been announced, though some people wouldn’t be opposed to an Iino and Ishigami spin-off. Discover more anime news and info by following us on Twitter @epicstreamanime. READ NEXT: Best School Romance Anime You Should Watch
