Recently, notable Shonen Jump insiders Shonenleaks and WSJ_manga shared on Twitter that another big event for the highly anticipated anime is happening next month. According to WSJ_manga, the event will happen on September 19, 2022, and it will commemorate the upcoming release of the anime. It is also said to be a top-secret event with exclusive information, with only a total of 10 people being invited. Meanwhile, Shonenleaks mentioned that it is going to be a huge event and reiterated that top-secret information will be revealed. This report also mentioned a September 19 event date. Given that top-secret information will reportedly be revealed at the Chainsaw Man anime event this September, this may be a confirmation of the show’s official release date and episode count. Though considering how top-secret the info is, this might just be an industry event with no public announcement to be made. Right now, we’ll have to wait and see. At the very least, fans won’t have to wait too long for new content as tomorrow’s MAPPA stage event promises to debut a new trailer along with the main voice cast. The event will be streamed live tomorrow on the official MAPPA YouTube channel, and everyone will be able to watch it for free. Following this stage event, Chainsaw Man is also set to make an appearance at the Crunchyroll Expo. There, staff from the anime will hold a panel, with additional info possibly to be revealed. Chainsaw Man is an upcoming anime by MAPPA, and it is based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The manga’s first part was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020. The manga continued with Part 2 which began serialization in Shonen Jump+ in Japan and Manga Plus internationally last month.
