READ MORE: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania New Image Reveals Scott and Cassie Lang in the Quantum Realm
Recently speaking with Total Film, Broussard goes on about how Ant-Man 3 is a chance for them to rethink what the film presents in the MCU. seeing as 2015’s Ant-Man was followed by Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man and the Wasp similarly encountered this with Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. Check out what Broussard hopes what Ant-Man 3 will become in the MCU:
With the Quantum Realm being introduced in the third Ant-Man film, we’ll not only get to see the usual duo, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), but along with Scott’s daughter, Cassie (Kathryn Newton) traveling into an alternate universe where they are set to meet the ‘new’ big bad of the multiverse, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).
Broussard reiterates that the Quantum Realm, “It feels like a place you haven’t been to before in the MCU. [It’s] full of people and characters and worlds and politics and history.” Much like with the broadening of the multiverse within the Marvel Cinematic Universe bringing in other heroes, such as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, the Quantum Realm will also be teasing Kang conquering the multiverse.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
